I love New Years :) i think its the best holiday ever! its like a mixture of X-mas, valentines day, and mardi gra.-sp? lol buh you get it. Not only does it mark the beginning of a new calender year. It also makes you re-evaluate everything you've done and what you want to do different. It makes you appreciate life and knowing that you JUST being alive are apart of a celebration that ppl all over the planet are celebrating. Even if your not celebrating, you should be, because your breathing and your heart is beating at the exact same time as someone else. Some where. No one is ever alone.
This time last year: I wanted to be a doctor. lol I was dating someone...I moved into a new place. I made new friends. I had a different car. RiP jelly bean. I had a different job. I was a full time student.I had shorter hair. blah blah blah..
This Year: I want to be a art teacher. Not so interested in dating. Have a roommate. Have a pull out couch.lol Have a car in my name that I love. Got a new job starting as a legal assistant and now a legal secretary. I have longer hair and i think I've shrunk. smh. Isiah is in good health and is smarter everyday.
Your accomplishments aren't measured by someone else..They're measured by you because your ruler might be more broad then theirs.
